It is about time the court weighed in on this issue.

Ever since Rowe vs Wade...there has been sabre rattling and fear it would be overturned.Our religious right and our libral leftists have all had their say.  Be it on a state or National level..the time has come to make a stand.

Abortion is a womans choice between her and her God.....it is her body and she has the right to do whatever she wants with it.

If the abortion is in the first tri mester or a later one it is not for us to judge whether it is right or wrong we are not God and to all those Christians out there...JUDGE NOT LEST THEE BE JUDGED!!!

Our religious right should back off about it and we must have faith that our Supreme Court will do what is right. Even though it has tilted to the right,  we must respect the men and women who are sitting on the highest court in the land.

Abortion will always exist. The demon has been unleashed from the Box and can not be put back in. Whether we like it or not...if a woman wishes to terminate her pregnancy she will find a way to do it. She can go to Canada, Europe or Mexico....or a back alley physician..(that is tragic in its self).

We owe it to each and every woman that is a citizen or not in our country to safe medical attention.

My own view is that I if pregnant would not terminate the child, if I knew it was medical risk or would be born into a hard and challenging life then I would want the  to decide if I were to terminate the pregnancy.

We must all hope that a decision both fair and equitable will be administered when the time is right. One that will allow us to move on in this new century without sliding back to darkness and ignorance dictated by extrem religious teaching.
